McDonald’s worker shoot innocent family when trying to get his opp

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, a shooting broke out in the parking lot of a McDonald’s in Hallandale Beach, Florida, after an 18-year-old employee allegedly opened fire during a confrontation with another person.

The gunfire struck an SUV where a family was waiting for their food. Inside the vehicle were a father and his three children while the mother was inside the restaurant picking up their order.

The father was shot in the hip and was treated at a hospital before being released. His 11-year-old daughter suffered the most serious injury, with a bullet entering her forehead and lodging in the back of her head. She remains in the intensive care unit at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and doctors have said removing the bullet would be too dangerous.

Two younger children, ages 2 and 5, were also in the SUV but were not physically injured, despite bullets shattering the driver’s side windows.

The family’s identities have not been publicly released, and they have asked for privacy as they focus on their daughter’s recovery. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
