Boyfriend, 41, fatally shoots girlfriend, 32, before turning gun on himself in horrific caught-on-camera NYC murder-suicide: cops

Obtained by the NY Post A 41-year-old man fatally shot his 32-year-old girlfriend before turning the gun on himself in a Tuesday morning murder-suicide on a Brooklyn sidewalk, cops and sources said.  Heinous Ring camera footage obtained by The Post shows the gunman pointing the weapon at his screaming girlfriend before sources and witnesses say he shot her in the head outside his home on Jefferson Avenue near Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick around 7:30 a.m. The disturbing video then shows him falling to the ground after shooting himself once — before sitting up and letting off a second, fatal round on the residential tree-lined block.

The gunman shot himself twice before collapsing motionless on the sidewalk, the video shows. Obtained by the NY Post "She was running. She was screaming!" a male witness, who did not want to be identified, told The Post of the terrifying scene. "She tried to run away but he shot her. She just dropped. Then he shot himself. I still can't believe it. He lives there." The witness said he had known the alleged shooter for decades.  "He had his troubles, but I don't know what to say," he added. "Nobody thought he could ever do that! I know him a lot longer. They were together, but I don't know her. I don't know how long."

The gunman, 41, shot his 32-year-old girlfriend in the head before turning the gun on himself in a bloody scene on a Bushwick sidewalk, cops and sources said. Gregory P. Mango A large blood stain could be seen on the sidewalk hours after the deadly domestic violence.  The woman was taken to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, and the man to Woodhull Medical Center, where they both succumbed to their injuries, police said.  They had not been officially identified by the NYPD by the late afternoon, pending family notification.
